Continuing the theme of dead-thing earrings, found this great site Bone Lady Jewellery showcaseing the work of one Peggy Smith, better known for obvious reasons as the Bone Lady. Unlike the nauseating furry feet of the squirrel earrings in the previous post, she takes a much more intelligent approach to the use of material, form and matter, to create some truly fascinating pieces from some truly unique sources. Here are my favourites:

Interestingly, the Bone Lady can’t resist having a crack at some squirrel earrings too – is this a popular trend? Should we worry about the on-going survival of these rodents? In don’t think so;  everyone knows squirrels are not to be messed with!
